This can be made in many wood types. If you see a wood ring that you'd like an inlay added to just buy that ring and then buy in the custom things section "add wood inlay" and then add in the comments what wood you would like. The wood inlay is level to the rest of the ring so it is still a band and you don't have to worry about a bump of wood getting damaged.

I am not a great photoshoper so I bet you can see where my finger was, I do not alter the picture of the rings ever though. This ring is made with a core of ebony sides and two thin bands of walnut and one of maple with an inlay of the same woods.
