Ordering a Wood ring. - You can not please read the link if you want to know why. If you could you would simply choose a style of wooden ring by buying the one you like in the gallery or create one for yourself by buying a custom wood ring. Then in the comments section in the shopping cart checkout tell me the details of the ring eg. size, width, profile flat or rounded and for a custom ring, wood choices and order as well. Or e-mail me. All wood rings are approximately 2.5mm thick, ideal for comfort and durability (smaller sizes are thinner). You will note that I do not make a wood ring in one solid band, they are very fragile and with the heat and humidity of your finger they will crack along where the grain goes across the ring. You can request a solid band for $30 Canadian, but it will be made thicker about 4mm and I will not replace the ring if broken quickly as I do for the others for 2 months.

Note about pictures - I will send pictures on request before the piece goes out. I take two pictures for most wooden rings because there are four faces to the layered rings. Of those four there are two sets of two, the opposing sides of the wood rings are almost identical. Yes, I have a dog and cat so their hair gets everywhere.

Basic care - For all wood products there is a level of care that has to be put into them. You will have to oil or wax you piece as seems fit, I recommend a basic mineral oil. I do not use any lacquers or non food safe products on my work. Wood Rings must not be soaked in water. You also have to remember that they are not metal and if you weight lift or play rugby with a wood ring on, you will more then likely end up breaking it. Anything that puts a great deal of pressure on your hand and your clenching it, is bad.
